Beatbullying is the UKs leading bullying prevention Charity. Their latest programme CyberMentors sees an army of trained young people who help, assist and support their peers in an online virtual community, as well as on mobiles, helping to safeguard themselves and act as mentors to other young people they meet online. It is never easy talking about bullying, and many young people have told them that they would prefer to talk to another young person if they could. CyberMentors gives you the opportunity to offer an alternative to your child talking directly to you and you can be safe in the knowledge that they are being given sound advice in a secure environment. The CyberMentors site has strict child saftey mechanisms embedded in the process to ensure that inappropriate, bullying or predatory behaviour is safely reported and qualified counsellers are on hand should anything really serious come up. Click here to visit the site The Department for Children, Schools and Families The Department for Children, Schools and Families whose purpose is to make this the best place in the world for children and young people to grow up. Bullying UK was founded in 1999 by a mother from Harrogate and her son John, as a direct result of the experience of dealing with school bullying. http://www.surveillance-video.com/bully-april-2009.html great resources about what to do with Bullying.
