| Single dads generally fall into one of three "types"
We guess because you find yourself on this section of the website you come from the third grouping. No judgements here, but that has to be a good thing! OnlyDads are not going to offer trite advice or the ten top-tips for successful dating. We know you will have asked yourself the same old questions a thousand times:
Our guess is, no one ever really knows the answer to questions (1) and (2.) And given that you are reading this, question (3) may already have been answered. For those Dads who may feel like they need a bit of help through this process, we offer descriptions and links through to smaller, more personable Dating Sites and Introduction Agencies for you to explore. Across The Room is a private club for select, charming, single people. We Lesley, at The Introduction Company, meets every client personally at her office. She explains "I spend a good deal of time over this meeting, seeing only one person per day. It's never easy starting again but at least this way I get to know how things really are for you and can match you up accordingly. No photos or profiles to wade through either. I organise the entire date from start to finish and then the following day I'm waiting by the phone for your feedback. It helps to know how things went and if you didn't pluck up the courage to ask for her phone number I'm the go between to make sure things happen. I'm always on hand to lead you through the process and ready with suggestions and guidance if you need it. You would get unlimited introductions to women I have personally met and spent time with. (Three year's membership for £490 in total and A.B.I.A. approved) I also offer monthly "Meet & Greet" events in York where non members are most welcome- very informal, drink and chat style evenings. These are useful if you don't know where to go to meet new people."
Classical Partners, established in 1992, is the introduction agency for unattached people with an interest in the arts and music. We cover age range 20s to 60s and all parts of England. Many of our members are divorced parents themselves or are interested in meeting others with children. As well as arranging one-to-one introductions we organise social events such as concert or theatre evenings and soirees.
As the name suggests, an ideal site for single parents with children. If you are a single Mum or Dad, then you probably already know how difficult it is to make new friends - especially those of the opposite sex. Responsibilities at home can prevent you from leading an active social life, and opportunities of meeting anyone new and unattached are few and far between. You'd love to start dating again - but, given the opportunity, want to be sure that everyone you meet is family-minded, and will be more than happy to accept your children.
In your search for a life partner you will receive nothing less than a personal, tailored service from Louise. You will find her agency approachable, professional, and understanding. Highly recomended.
