“Parents need to find a way to work together and ensure they hear us and respect our wishes and feelings. This isn’t just about them; they often forget that”
Each year approximately 280,000 children have parents who separate, yet this significant cohort of children is largely invisible in terms of public policy and service provision. Parental separation impacts directly on the work of multiple departments including MoJ, DWP, DHSS and DFE and the annual cost to society has been estimated at over £50 billion.
It gives parents advice, support, reflections and resources in a way that is easy to understand and to navigate and is based on the questions we are asked on a daily basis by parents. Thank you for helping us to help others.
